Testimony TUESDAY

God writes some incredible stories.  We see the work of God everyday in the lives of campers as they set out to serve a living God.  Each of these stories makes up a much larger story of Christ’s love for His people.  T Bar M Camps is a place that creates life-impacting experiences focused on growing campers spiritually, socially and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52). We make it a goal to send every single camper and coach out of our gates knowing that he or she is His beloved, then walking as salt and light with their own L252 story to tell. It is our hope that by hearing these testimonies you are encouraged to grow and are moved into a deeper intimacy with our Creator.

After last week’s Testimony Tuesday, we received the following story in our inbox.  We love how YOU are encouraging one another with your stories!  Keep ‘em coming!

Meet Kalina!  She [middle] is one of our most FUAGNEM campers and is fired up to tell you her L252 story.

From Kalina:

Hi! A little bit about me – I am 14 years old and I’m an Ultimate Swim Camper!  I have attended camp since I was 10 years old, starting in 2008.  When I was 10 I knew about Jesus and how He died for us, but that was about it.  Having God in my life and having a relationship with Him was something I really had never thought about and never really considered until camp that year.  When I came to camp it was a completely different world to me. The coaches were so different from the people in my life.  It wasn’t until Wednesday night after Gospel Presentation when I can truly say I became a Christian.  It was that moment when my coach Morgan led me to Christ that I decided to put God in front of all things in my life.

That was back in 2008…. ever since then I’ve strived to become more like Jesus and have desired to show people Him and continuously speak of His Word.  I have continued to read my Bible and strengthen my character.  I’ve joined YoungLife and love it. To me, it’s camp, away from camp.  I have devoted my life to serving God and helping others.  The love the coaches showed me and the way they have influenced me in my life has encouraged me to want to become a coach one day – it’s my life-long dream.  I want to be the person that someday people look back and say “she was an amazing person.”  Not an amazing swimmer, but person.  Because the impact of being someone that shows someone Christ will last forever; there is no feeling greater than knowing someone’s life has been changed for the glory of God – not even winning a Junior National meet title could be better than that.

Have a FUAGNEM week and Don’t Waste ANY fun! (:

We’d love to feature your story on Testimony Tuesday.  Send your stories to randibeth@tbarmcamps.org.  To show our thanks, we will send you a cool prize!
